To all the crew on the “Exo”, thanks very much for a fantastic 10 days. The surfing, fishing, diving and food was ten out of ten. The islands we visited will stay with me forever. I will be back soon.

Health And Safety

Water

The water on board is filtered to one micron from the tanks to the tap and is perfectly safe for drinking. However, we understand that our guests may be wary so we will provide bottled water to drink as well.

Malaria

PNG does have malarial mosquitoes so we recommend that you take anti-malarial medication for the duration of your stay in PNG. Also bring effective mosquito repellents. Since the ‘Exo’ is air conditioned there isn’t much risk whilst on board, but it is increased if walking on the island near fresh water areas.

The sun

The tropical sun can be intense, even on a cloudy day. So prepare to cover up & wear plenty of sun protection (including your eyes) especially when in the water. Always remember to drink plenty of water too.

First Aid

We have two fully equipped first aid kits onboard (both your hosts are Senior First Aiders plus our crew are CPR trained). We will have phone contact with a local doctor, and if required a direct steam back to the local hospital.

MedEvac insurance is mandatory for all passengers
