As a Kavieng local, how did you first get into surfing, and what led you to become a guide for PNG Surfaris?

”Kavieng is one of the most attractive places to people around the globe due to it’s people, pristine landscapes and beautiful culture traditions. Growing up watching people enjoying the surf breaks around in Kavieng makes me curious what it would feel like surfing. Starting with wooden boards to a surfboard my love for surfing grew stronger and became addictive. Getting a job that includes what I love doing as a passion was a dream come true. And that has driven me to be a guide for PNG Surfaris.”

The best part of the job is meeting new people and seeing them enjoying the waves and having the time of their lives.”
